Hello Elizabeth, I am Roberto Valenti Google Street View trusted.
I have a problem with a large company.
I try to explain.
The work that I do is
Niguarda hospital. It is the largest and most important hospital in Milan.
In Google Maps, there are already some cards, report info incorrect and have to be verified.
https://goo.gl/maps/s6Yg9LyR4Vq

They would like to create a tab for each block (building)
Each block has 5 to 15 departments. and would like to list them on the board.
Example
BLOCK DEA
Department - Resuscitation
Department - trauma center
Department - Center .....
Department - Center .....
etc. etc

I thought I would create in My business card with the name "Niguarda Block DEA"
and in the description to add all departments
Department - Resuscitation
Department - trauma center
Department - Center .....
Department - Center .....
etc. etc

Some time ago there was the option of adding a description and this potrebbere solve the problem.

But now I can not find the option to add a description.

The serious fact is that the details are taken from the wikipedia tab.
Those responsible for communication Niguarda hospital tell me that it is very serious that they can not control what is written on wikipedia.
I think this is an important indicator to be submitted to the developers.

The notes section or description is very important.

How can I do?

Thanks for your help
Roberto Valenti

@Roberto V

I'm not sure why you are addressing this thread to a lady "Elizabeth"

However can tell you Google retired a while ago their former feature to specify any kind of descriptions through GoogleMyBusiness

@Helmut Geissler
I moved the thread - he tacked the question onto an announcement by Liz from ages ago. Since it's a new issue, created new thread.  Not his fault. You were too quick with your response ;-)

@Roberto V
I agree with Helmut - descriptions disappeared quite some time ago.  However, what you're describing sounds like departments.

You'd create a separate listing for each of the departments that qualify for listings.
Some listings get a "departments" section added to them, and that's how searchers can see the related businesses.

As an example: Sears Optical in Sears

https://www.google.com.au/search?espv=2&q=sears+brooklyn+new+york&oq=sears+brooklyn+new+york&gs_l=se...

Only thing I'm not sure is if this "department" feature is available for hospitals.  Will check on that for you.

Also - be sure your departments listings follow the guidelines here (there's a section just for department):

Hi @Roberto V
As far as I've been able to find out, the "departments" feature is done algorithmically.

So my advice would be to set up the various listings on the same account and get them verified.  Put something on the website indicating the various departments.

Give the bots some time to figure this out.

If you don't have any success in a month or two, ping me (use the @ symbol with my name - helps ensure I get the message) and we can have a look at this again.
