How to remove a review that I have already flagged

Hi There, I recently had a person (njb) review us on Google with a 1 star rating. He left this review and is not a patient, and hasn't been for a couple of years. This person has left inaccurate information and reviewed us on false bases.  I have flagged this review and have not heard anything back from Google.

I saw that you were very helpful for other businesses, and wanted to get your feedback on how we can escalate this or get review removed. Although we strive for 5 star reviews, we understand and welcome accurate and fair reviews, comments and feedback. However, this was not as such.

I thank you for any and all feedback and insight!

Hi @Robert H

Google will only remove reviews if the text of the review is in violation of the guidelines. Since I can't see the review, can't make the call as to whether this should be escalated.

Your best options would be to:
1) contact the reviewer and work to a solution and then ask them to revise or remove their review.  Based on your description so far, probably not an option...
2) if that's not possible, respond to the review being careful not to say the reviewer is not telling the truth (think how readers might interpret that), but put your side of the story forward.
3) Work to getting more reviews. Over time and given its age, that review will likely get pushed down and the better reviews will be what people read most.

Was my response helpful? If yes, please mark it as the ‘Best Answer.’ Learn how here.
