How to add a location when your business is INSIDE another business?

Hi,

I want to add our second location to our Google Places - but our second location is actually inside another business!  How do I get around that one?

Thanks!

Can you provide some specifics? What type of business is it? What is the business that it occupies?

Hi - We are a Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy Clinic. Our first location
that is currently listed is a stand alone, but our second clinic is within a
Gym Complex and they currently have a listing.

It should be fine. I believe this is the relevant guideline on this matter - https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en&ref_topic=4540086#departments

Publicly-facing departments that operate as distinct entities should have their own page. The exact name of each department must be different from that of the main business and that of other departments. Typically such departments have a separate customer entrance and should each have distinct categories. Their hours may sometimes differ from those of the main business.

Acceptable (as distinct pages):
"Walmart Vision Center"
"Sears Auto Center"
"Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Dermatology"
Not acceptable (as distinct pages):
The Apple products section of Best Buy
The hot food bar inside Whole Foods Market
For each department, the category that is the most representative of that department must be different from that of the main business and that of other departments.

The main business "Wells Fargo" has the category "Bank" whereas the department "Wells Fargo Advisors" has the category "Financial Consultant"
The main business "South Bay Toyota" has the category "Toyota Dealer" whereas the "South Bay Toyota Service & Parts" has the category "Auto Repair Shop" (plus the category "Auto Parts Store")
The main business "GetGo" has the category "Convenience Store" (plus the category "Sandwich Shop") whereas the department "GetGo Fuel" has the category "Gas Station", and the department "WetGo" has the category "Car Wash"

Hi, thank you for the information. I just had one clarifying question. In your example:

The main business "GetGo" has the category "Convenience Store" (plus the category "Sandwich Shop") whereas the department "GetGo Fuel" has the category "Gas Station", and the department "WetGo" has the category "Car Wash"

Are you saying that you would end up creating separate Google My Business listings with the same branding, address, and phone number?

The reason I ask is because I am working on GMB for an Auto Center that is a gas station, convenience store, and auto repair shop. The address and branding are the same and the phone number is just one number, but prompts you to hit 1 for auto repair and 2 for gas/convenience store (that sort of a thing). The auto shop and convenience store have different hours of operation and the gas station is 24 hours (if you pay by card). I'm not sure what direction to go here, because it just felt funny to create so many different listings.

Any help you could offer would be appreciated!

Thank you. Jacob
