I"m not sure @Pete C what youu are trying to achieve and why?

But there are options to transfer a listing to a new account or to get transferred a certain listing to a new account.

Both options could be applied for https://goo.gl/maps/VaAPN4NVoEL2

But I would like getting expalined what you mean as " a google business i no longer own".

Don't you own the business or what exactly is the issue with the abouve linked listing.

Please elaborate it bit more.

has the new owner claimed the verified listing on his dashboard or is the listing still visible if you are signed in to your dashboard?

I can see on google that the listing is actually managed by a user under this GMail address "pc…@gmail.com"  It looks like your eamil (but not sure).

Incase its your mail this explaine the fact you get notifications from Google.

And in this case you should contact the new owner in oder to arrange to tranfer the ownership of the listing in question to the account of the new owner.

These HC articles explain the "how to do":
