Google has suspended your page due to quality issues

Hi there. I was trying to add my online business to Google and got "Google has suspended your page due to quality issues" message. I also tried to send a postcard to verify and it said "Failed." The address is correct, and I've done this with other business without an issue. Any help is appreciated (I saw nothing in the forums that would solve this for me).

Hi Jason

In accordance with Google guidelines, online businesses are not allowed to have a Google My Business page which would be why your page was suspended.

Hi Jason

I'm not sure what you mean by 'reinstate your site'? - you won't ever be able to have a Maps listing for your business as it doesn't meet Google guidelines. If your website itself has been suspended then you'll need to go through Webmaster Central to have that suspension lifted.

Hi,

So who's it for if online businesses can't use it?

Sorry I'm new to this

I think there's a difference between "claiming" a business, which is what I
did, and just having an online presence/website. In my case, I only have an
online presence, but I thought I needed to claim a location for it. If it's
only online, apparently that's not appropriate.

@Jason L - yep that's correct, just the online presence/website in this instance for your business model.

@Geoff H - Maps listings (GMB) are for businesses that make face-to-face contact with their customers. The guidelines on which businesses can / cannot have a Maps listing are here: https://support.google.com/business/answer/3038177?hl=en&ref_topic=4540086
