Hi guys, hoping someone could help. I'm about to launch a business so I need to make sure my Google+ presence is in order, but I seem to be having some difficulty getting my Google+ business page to show up along with my business in Search. My Google+ business page is: http://google.com/+AgoradigitalTech It'll be within the first few results if 'agora digital legacy' is searched for. If anyone could help it'd be hugely appreciated. Thanks.

That G+ account appears to be a G+ branded account and not an official Google My Business Page.

Do you have an official Office - brick and mortar office?

If so Claim your Business Address though   https://www.google.com/business/

For Ranking and Local SEO, and google my business ranking here are some details:

Google+ business page in Search problem

Thank you for this. No, I'm web based and do not have an office for visitors, so I understand I shouldve created a brand page instead of claiming an address? i.e I was right to have created a Google+ business brand page? I also believed I should appear in search results, like a business listed on Google MyBusiness?

Correct - with no visitors to a brick and mortar address, you don't qualify for a GMB Page

i.e I was right to have created a Google+ business brand page?

YES

I also believed I should appear in search results, like a business listed on Google MyBusiness?

NO, your own website would more then likely appear for it's branded names, and you will not get a Right Side Knowledge Graph from a G+ Branded page.

The G+ Branded pages have significantly been reduced in Search Presence, unless you add the keyword terms "G + or  G Plus".   The value of maintaining a G+ Branded Pages has significantly reduced as search results and  IMHO, not worth more then a set and forget these days - but one never knows, so test it for yourself to see if there is traffic from your Non Business but only Branded G+ Page and worthwhile to continue to build followers and use brand techniques, as far as organic search seeing your Branded G+ page not very likely.

The benefit, that still remains, is that if you have people "Following"  your branded page, anything you post can be seen by the followers and relative search results for the Followers can bring up your pages, because the Follower ( logged in) is tied to your account as a follow, and in the 8th 9th spot of a given search result, could include one of your G+ pages if the keyword query is relative.  It all comes down to ROI, is it worthwhile to continue and consistently publish Unique Content on a G+ page, or Add all the content to your Own website that you own and control.

IMHO adding to your own website will always win in the long run, across all platforms, and you can always "Share" the website content on all your social platforms, which is a win-win instead of an/ the only posting content to your G+ branded page.

G+ is no where close to the same impact and loyalty effects of say a Facebook fan page and any potential there ( Again - ROI is and should be your Measuring stick for the Social aspects you donate to that endeavor as a whole, as opposed to an Add on "Share" effect which has a minimal cost and time effect in the long run and can see some benefit.

( All and all, post to your website, and then "Share that content" along the social platforms, as opposed to creating content JUST for the social platforms themselves.) Again my humble opinion based on how search works and the effects over the long haul of ROI.

Hope that makes sense, :)
