Hello.

 

I am the "owner" of a Google Business site for a locally owned business in the UAE.

 

Currently, I get emailed all of the "reviews" that are submitted from customers online.  I tried to change this so that our manager gets them (I assumed that adding him under "manage permissions" and adding him as "owner" would solve this) but this is proving not to work.

 

Question:  Can we add people within the Business Group to receive review notifications too?  How can I enable these emails to go somewhere else?

Hello and thank you Margret.

I am the owner so my issue is how do I get others to receive the review
messages?

In other words, even though I am the owner of the business page, I want my
manager to receive the notifications from Google (I already receive them).

He is listed as the "manager" under the page permissions but other than
this, I cannot seem to find any other way.

Ah, did you know you can have more than one owner on a listing?  Here's how it works - https://support.google.com/business/answer/4573962

 

But, you have a point I missed the first time 'round.  I think only the page primary owner receives the review notifications.

 

You asked a similar question in January, and doesn't look like you received a response.  I'll get clarification from Google as to whether there has been any progress with the "only one shall get messages" limitation.  Thanks for your patience.

At this point in time, the system is working as intended.  Only primary owner getting notifications.

 

Yours is, however, a commonly requested function.  I anticipate Google will do something about this in the near future.
