I have had a few clients leave reviews and then they were not visible a few days later.  I am wondering why that would be?

Sounds like Google, for one reason or another, thought they were spam.

Sometimes, this can trigger if a large number of reviews are left in a single day. Perhaps that describes your situation?

It does, we sent out a message to a bunch of clients asking for reviews and many of them responded (which we are super happy about).  Is there anyway I can have those put back up?  I don't want to ask my clients to remake them, but we are really needing our reviews and they are all legitimate..

I don't think there's a way to get the same clients to leave a review again. If I recall correctly, when signed in, your clients will still see their review.

Might want to try contacting support, and they might be able to escalate a re-review, though I think they don't have way to restore the reviews directly.

Note that if you get customers to review your listing, try to do it overtime, so that it appears the result of typical user behavior.

I will try to stagger them in the future, but I only sent out about 10
request and just had all 10 of them respond. Is 10 reviews in 1 day really
that suspicious?

Yes, especially if they haven't seen anyone review the business prior.
