Google Crawl Errors -

Hi my old website keeps on showing up in my google crawl errors under the search console.  It is the correct website and the sitemap is correct too.  Can it be an old link in from a blog?  I have 21 pages with 404 errors.

Janine,

Yes more then likely you have a Link on your website that is pointing to the Old site that is creating the 404 error report.

Usually if not mistaken, if in the crawl error  report, you click on the LINK itself, it will pop up another page that give you more details such as "LINKED FROM" which will help you identify the bad links so you can correct them.

Examples from one of my Own sites- Click on the Crawl LINK  like the arrows below, then the second image will give you the details

Thanks, I reported them to be taken off as they all linked to my old site.  Thanks for your help.
