Do I have to build a whole new Google+ page?[ Edited ]
March 2016 - last edited March 2016
My business name has changed. I set the custom url to include the old business name.
I know Google does not allow a change to a custom url. So what can I do? Do I have start over from scratch and build a new Google+ page for my new business name? That would not be my favorite choice.
If I have to build a whole new page, can I copy any of the content over?

Try at first to get help from Support - there are some users reporting here gotten a new custom URL despite of the general rule you seem knowing.
But before doing so you should stop the violation of their naming rules for your actual business pages.
Remove at least "(formerly Wholly Moley Antiques)"
Better would be to remove "& Fun Finds (formerly Wholly Moley Antiques)"
