Cover Photo as Image for Google Knowledge Graph overridden by Google[ Edited ]
July - last edited July
I've been battling for a few weeks now trying to get a specific image to show for in a client's knowledge graph with varying success. I've followed every step on this particular document (https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6325583?hl=en) first ensuring my account was recognized as an official representative by owning the Google+ page, am signed in on the account, having web & app activity turned on and have owner permission for the website in search console. I've then requested a change to the photo and provided a URL for the desired image. I've additionally uploaded a large .PNG image as the page's cover-photo via GMB several times to no avail.
I had previously sent a request to GMB support to manually remove a previous image we did not want, which worked for a few weeks. I've just recently found that a new image has been displaying in the knowledge graph and am worried this cycle will repeat itself.
Is there something I am missing?
