Correct address format for suite numbers

Since Google changes suite prefixes to hashtags in Google Maps (i.e. #200), will NAP consistency suffer if our website, Yelp, and Facebook use "Suite" or "Ste"? Or is Google's algorithms smart enough to see that all three of these mean the same thing?

As a side note, we use Moz Local - which is linked up to our Google My Business profiles - so in theory the "#" will propagate to the three major data aggregates over time. The reason I ask about our website, Yelp and Facebook specifically is because each of these three will require manual work on our end and I don't want to waste all of that time changing everything to "#" if search engines are smart enough to read all three suite formats correctly.

Thanks!

Anyone have any insight into this? I tried calling Google My Business phone support this morning and was hung up on.

Hi @Josh F

I believe Google understands they're the same so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks Tom! I appreciate the reply. Not sure how I missed that thread because I tried searching quite a bit. Glad we don't have to go through the hassle of updating everything!
