'Connect a different page' on a location isn't available

I have a google + page.

I've just added a location.

I want the location to be joined up with my google+ page.

When i go into the location settings to chose 'connect a different location' the button isn't visible and i have no option to do this.

How can i get this sorted?

Hi @Sam B

So you want to merge a Brand into Business Page, correct ?

Try this:

All the guides i've seen show a button at the bottom under 'profile' which lets you link the location to another brand page. As i mmentioned in the original post this button doesn't exist.

Your guide says:

"Now choose Settings and scroll down to Link a different page to this location and then choose your main Brand Page that you would like to now connect to Google Maps."

But "Link a different page to this location" doesn't exist as an option on the settings page.

Hi Sam,

You need to be the owner of both the Brand page and the Local page for this process is to work. Is that the case in your situation?

If not, you'll need to arrange ownership of both pages.

Please provide both the links here then Sam, just so we can see what we're dealing with.

I am having the same issue and I cannot find a solution. I have an established Google+ page and I just created and verified a Maps page. The maps created a new Google+ page. I want it to connect to my established Google+ page. How can I do this?  Old "how to" guides reference a button or a page that no longer exists.

Google Brand pages and Business Pages are now separate products. I don't believe they can be merged now.

I have the same problem! And I actually was able to merge one set of G+ with Google verified location. Now I'm trying to merge another set (another company) and it just doesn't work. That button really disappeared. It's actually the same as I'm not the owner, but I created those pages from this profile, no other owner. WOW
