Hi everyone,

I'm having some issues with google business for my company :

1. Full business name : Immersion Pictures
2. Current business address : 7 rue de Castellane, 75008 Paris, France
3. Current telephone number : +33(0)650353261
4. Google Maps URL : new location link
5. Website : https://www.immersion-pictures.com (actually upgrading)

We've updated all informations on a verified Google Business account, but it didn't update result in google: google result for Immersion Pictures

A message on a red banner give wrong address and phone number.

"Immersion Pictures is recorded closed at this location. If it's incorrectly closed, please report it."

And the report button only offers the option to report my company as open, but not update the address, phone and status.

This is really look bad for my business, we need  to be back to normal as soon as possible.

Sadly I didn't found any solution on Google Business account and I'll need some help.

Thank you so much.

Hi @Jean-Marie B

So this listing is showing all the details you have listed :

https://goo.gl/maps/mr2JfUMqemp

The listing showing closed is a verified listing :

https://goo.gl/maps/HuncgLsG2iL2

Are you able to log into the account ?

Hello @Tim Capper

I've create a new verified Business account something like 2 weeks ago.

But there's no way to control informations of the second link from there.

Before I was using an old Gmail account with google place to register my company.

I've delete this account to make some clean up but it didn't delete all information.

And somehow now my business is report as closed, which is not the case, I didn't made this modification.

How can I merge keep only new informations or simply delete old data?

Hi @Jean-Marie B

So you don't have access anymore.

In that case you are going to need to request ownership:

Request Ownership of a Google Business Listing

Then once you have regained ownership of the old page >> delete the listing. It does not have any reviews, so it may be deleted all together from Maps.

If it does not delete and remains on Maps ( but now unverified ) >> you can contact business support.

Ask business support to mark as Moved / merge the old listing ( now unverified) >> https://goo.gl/maps/HuncgLsG2iL2 >> into >> the current verified listing https://goo.gl/maps/mr2JfUMqemp

The reason you have to claim ownership and delete is because Google cannot merge a Verified listing into another, it has to be unverified.

@Tim Capper of course I've tried to request ownership before create new account but it was not working.

When I was searching for Immersion Pictures on www.google.com/business returned me 0 result.

So I typed all informations manually, then I validate and I got this response:

we've create a google plus page...

How would you like to get your verification code...

That's why I created a new account. I've never got an option to claim ownership...

I just try again... same same

@Tim Capper I have now two locations for Immersion Pictures on my Google business account.

The verified one with the good address and the one just created when trying to request ownership as you suggest.

Should I verify this newly created location to then unverified it... Sound awkward...

If it's the solution, how should I verify it as my company is not at this address anymore?

Can't believe how complicated is it =(

Company information are wrong and I can't change them.

Have you contacted business support to ask to merge Old with New ?

Hi @Jean-Marie B

I cannot ask them to merge the old one ( https://goo.gl/maps/HuncgLsG2iL2  ) because it is still verified.

You need to get ownership to delete it, which then becomes unverified and can be merged.
