1. Full business name - Mt. Sierra College

2. Current business address - 800 Royal Oaks Dr Suite 101, Monrovia, CA 91016
3. Current telephone number - 626-873-2100
4. Google+ URL - https://plus.google.com/b/111074783124336272692/111074783124336272692/videos?gmbpt=true&hl=en

Our college recently moved (in January 2016) to new location - 800 Royal Oaks Dr Suite 101, Monrovia, CA 91016,  and we would like to change the address in Google, we just claimed the business but it says Google will send us a postcard, which will go to old address (101 Huntington Dr, Monrovia, CA 91016), so we might not get it, or it will take time. We also submitted "Suggest an edit". We are operating College and its very important to us to change address on Google asap so students won't be confused.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hi @mtsierra c,

Looks like you linked to the wrong page. You linked to a brand page instead of the actual local page with the map. You've got two though it looks like, though one's a detached listing, so that shouldn't cause you any problems. Here's the listing you want to change:
https://plus.google.com/112347951798498156460/about

Here's the ghost listing, just for completion's sake:
https://plus.google.com/104616184831707794985/about

Pity you all didn't verify before moving. If you haven't tried to verify with the website though, you can do that now. Go to Google Search Console (formerly Google webmaster tools) and get your site verified. You'll have to upload a file to your home directory, and then you'll be good. If you've got an IT guy helping out, it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

Once you've verified, go to the Google my Business (make sure you're logged into the same Google account you used to verify your site above) and hopefully, you'll see a new verification option. If it shows up, you'll be done in under 10 minutes total. If it doesn't... you're out of luck.

Here's more info on the above method by the way, might help you do it.

If it doesn't show, you'll need to request the postcard, wait two weeks, then call Google support and explain the situation and they'll help you out. Here's the contact info:
https://support.google.com/business/contactflow?hl=en

DON'T try editing the business info to the new address. It's against guidelines to change the address of unclaimed listings through map maker, you're going to cause yourself trouble if you try. Since you're a college though, hopefully the search console verification method will work for you. Otherwise you'll have to wait the 2 weeks.
