Can't change capitalization in custom URL

I have a Google+ page: https://plus.google.com/+Furqansoftware

Whenever I was managing that page I was suggested that I could pick a custom URL. It would always suggest +FurqanSoftwareDhaka. But today I noticed that there were two more options +Furqansoftware and +Furqansoftware{suffix}. I did a Google search and noticed in the support site that Google+ allows custom URL's capitalization to be changed. So I picked +Furqansoftware and though I could fix the capitalization. Because what I really want is +FurqanSoftware.

But turns out, I can't change that. I just had a long conversation with a Google+ Help forum moderator: https://plus.google.com/+MahmudRidwan/posts/NNmpfqeRow7 . This is what I see when I go to the About tab of my page (while operating as the page): http://imgur.com/a/KPCN4

The fact that I can't change the URL's capitalization at this point is really frustrating. It just looks like we made a business page in a hurry and didn't even write our name properly.

Hi @Mahmud R

That is why there are the Big Warning label asking you to confirm the selection you have chosen.

You could try business support, I know they are able to reset it when a business page changes ownership, so they may be able to.

Yes. There are warning labels. And it's pretty common sense now that most services do not allow these handles/usernames like things to be changed.

But then there is this help page to confuse you: https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2676340?hl=en .. Notice the section with the heading "Change the capitalization or accents of your custom URL".

Yep I see that.

I guess they try and differentiate because >> that is for Google+ Pages >> Marked in Red Backround. With Google My Business help pages being in blue backround.

Try support they might be able to help.
