1) Unauthorized Google Credit Card Charges

If you think you received an unauthorized charge from AdWords, here's what to do:

  1. Confirm that the charge is actually from AdWords by comparing it with the examples in this Help Center link.
  2. Check with colleagues, friends, and family to see if anyone created an AdWords account for you.
  3. If you don't have an AdWords account but received a charge from AdWords, contact us immediately with a scan or screenshot of the charge, and we'll be happy to help.

For more information about identifying unauthorized charges, refer here.

2) How to Access the Keyword Planner

To access Keyword Planner, sign in to your AdWords account at: http://adwords.google.com/KeywordPlanner

Within the Keyword Planner, you’ll be able to research keywords and get historical statistics and traffic forecasts.

However, It's important to keep in mind that while Keyword Planner can provide some great keyword ideas and traffic forecasts, campaign performance depends on a variety of factors. For example, your bid, budget, product, and customer behavior in your industry can all influence the success of your campaigns.

To learn more, read our Help Center article about the Keyword Planner tool.

3) How to use your Promotional Codes (Coupons)

Google and our partners sometimes distribute promotional codes for AdWords advertising. These special offers can be used to redeem credit that gets applied to your AdWords account. To redeem your offer, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your AdWords account.
  2. Click the gear icon and choose Billing & payments.
  3. Click Settings from the menu on the left.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page, then click Manage promotional codes.
  5. Click + Promotional code.
  6. Enter your promotional code.
  7. Click Save.

Please note, prior to inputting Promotional codes, you must have a payment method entered. For more information about using your Promotional codes, refer to our Help Center article here.

4) How Can I Find a Google Search Partner

You can use Google Partner Search to find a Partner to help manage your AdWords account or other online advertising needs.

Here's how to use Google Partner Search:

  1. Go to Google Partner Search.
  2. Enter your company's website and the location where you'd prefer an agency to be located.
  3. Click the View your results button.
  4. For each Partner listed, you can click the Learn more button to see more information about their business, the minimum monthly budget they accept, the company's AdWords specializations, and the Google products their employees are certified in.
  5. To refine your search results, click the Refine results button. You can refine your search results by several criteria, including the minimum monthly budget a Partner will accept, the areas they focus on, and services they offer.
  6. When you're ready to contact a Partner, click the Contact button. Fill out the form with your contact information and a description of your business and the services you want help with.
  7. Click the Contact this partner button to submit your request. You should hear back from the Partner in a timely manner.

To learn more about Google Search Partners, read this Help Center article.

5) Site Suspended

Site suspensions are serious and require action. Watch the video below to learn how to find out the reason for your site suspension, then check that against the list of AdWords policies to find out the next steps for the specific policy issue.

Depending on the suspension type, you may be able to submit your site for review, but you can only do this once! Make sure you have resolved any problems with the site before submitting this form.

I keep getting this error when logging in my account.

There was an error with your operation. If you were trying to make a change, it may not have saved.

Please refresh this page to try again.

If the error continues, log out of your AdWords account, then log in again and return to this page.

Then I can't see my campaign or accessing into any section without getting the same error message.

How to remove a  credit card from the account?

Pamela T

PLEASE, is there anyone who can help me set up more than one campaign on my my account?

Susan W

I really appreciate being able to read the Bible & enjoy the peaceful feeling that I receive from the messages until the AdWords starts flashing in my eyes, blink blink blink blink blink blink blink! I don't even see the message I just see the blinking and want it to stop as quickly as I can make it stop! What an annoying way to get attention. For that reason, and ony that reason, I am uninstalling this Bible app. I wish you had chosen some other way to advertise.

Let's see....

@mrvisitor a, Raise the quality score or raise yoru bid to better compete. It's an auction and you need to win it to gain the real estate you seek.

@NVL I, do you have any browser extensions like Adblock, Ublock, etc.? These can cause your issue. Also, try logging out of your account, clearing the web browser cache and then only logging in with the Google account that controls your AdWords account and see if the error presits. If it does, try a different web browser and repeat steps above.

@Tambo T, Go to AdWords, new experience, click on keywords and then look across the top of the screen and click on Negative Keywords. Here you can remove any you do not want listed as negative... or you can add in new ones. Repeat steps for each of the tabs across the top of the keywords section.

Another way you could achieve this would be to click on Change History at the bottom left of the menu stack... and then find your actions and reverse them by checking it and then clicking Undo.

@Ruchi S, Click on the three stacked dots in the upper right hand corner of your account and then click on Billing & payments. From here, you can see all sorts of great data regarting the financial actions of your account, including payment methods. You will have to add a payment source and make it the primary before you can remove the current primary payment source. Your AdWords account must always maintain at least one primary payment source (a secondary/backup is optional).

@Pamela T, Please open your AdWords account, click on Campaigns, and then click on the "blue circle + button" and create the campaign.

@Susan W, ads within apps are placed by the apps creator, not us. You should provide feedback to them, or see if they offer a paid verison of the app with no ads. I generally try an app out for free... and once I know I like it, I will pay the fee for the premium or ad-free verison. You can also research other bible apps that are ad-free.

@Duc T, you only have to earn the credit by the specific time stated (in your case September 9). Once you complete the requirements by Sept 9 and earn the promotional credit, you can take all the time you want to spend it. The credit is yours just as if you paid it with your credit card or payment source.

I can't find where to agree to the latest terms and conditions update. The email alert says I will get a prompt to accept them when I sign in to my AdWords account, but I'm not getting anything.
