As Google pushes on to continue to improve their AdWords program they have given the Opportunities tab in the user interface a major overhaul and improved the section a great deal.
Opportunities are customized for each advertiser and are provided in an easy to digest and implement format.
New to the opportunities section are: first page bid, match type, geo bid adjustment opportunities, call extension opportunities, and bid opportunities based on the performance of competitors.
The Location bid adjustments section is especially cool.
As you can see Google will make recommendations for increases or decreases in specific locations based account performance.
Another great improvement is the ability to add a suggested keyword to a new adgroup which is created right from the Opportunities section. Alternatively add the keywords to an existing Campaign and adgroup from the Opportunities tab. Who can complain about that level of control?
The new version of the Opportunities tab is a major improvement and I recommend advertisers check this out and see what Opportunities can be uncovered.
