Why can't I stop a campaign in ad words?

It's an old campaign which I would like to stop but a red message appears on screen stating

'this campaign cannot be modified in ad words.'

Hi

I´ve never heard of that before. Sound strange. Sure the campaign hasn´t been deleted? Has it got any impressions and clicks lately?

I had this same question!  I do believe I created the ad I am trying to pause in Express.  How do I access that dashboard?

Hi JacquieMK you'll need to go to the Express product, accessible here:
