Hi Crispin,

Once your ad is deleted, you won't be able to undelete it. However you can create the same new ads for your campaign.

If you want to review the performance of your deleted ad then you can choose All ads from the All but deleted ads drop-down menu that's above your graph

You can undelete easily using adwords editor.

Go to Tools ->Settings->General

Under display make sure Hide deleted ads is unchecked.

Select the deleted ad(s) change the status to active.

easy peasy.

Also works from Campaigns and Adgroups. I wish they would add keywords also...

@Dataworks, it looks like this might not be possible anymore.

Any other ideas or are we all screwed on a quality score loss when we accidentally delete ads? :-)

Be aware of a bug that causes the deletion of your image ad when you try to edit it by clicking on it. I am suffering to be able to edit my ads, 1/2 times it gets deleted Smiley Sad

Hello ! Welcome to the Community !

While deleted ads cannot be "undeleted" you can see them and their past statistics.

Just go to the "Ads " tab and select from the button "All but deleted ads" the option "All ads", and you can at least copy-paste their text to create new ads.

In the future , use the AdWords editor to backup your account including all the ads. Some info on this subject can be found here :
