how to schedule ads while using the feature of auto bid

I want to schedule my ads so they won't show at night (I think some bots enter my site through the ads!)

how to do it ? this is so confusing!

It says it cannot change while my campaign is set to auto bid.

tried to change and it.... so it says cannot change when my type is set to : All feature

so, i changed the type to all features.

then tried to change the bid features. ---> to :Select a flexible bid strategy

but there are no options to choose from.

I do not want to manage my whole campaign manually. auto is good. but must change the schedule.

please help.

Hello Liran ! Welcome to the Community !

You can use Automated rules for this . Read the following page

https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2497710?hl=en

Go to "All online campaign" tick the box to select your campaign, click the "Automate" button and select "Pause campaign when"

The rule to pause the campaign will be : Pause campaign if

Requirements : Performance -> Impressions >0 , using data from the same day,

Frequency : Daily at hour 20:00 or whenever you want.

To enable select the same Campaign and chose "Enable campaigns when", and the requirements can be the "campaign name"

thank you. it looks like it should do the trick.

But overall I have the impression that the adwords control panel is so messy and so confusing.
with so many settings scattered all over the place.
it remind me of android system where settings are separated between Macro settings and Micro settings but not in a good way.

I'm sure it not just me saying... guess it effect millions... is there anywhere we can post about it ? how do you feel about it ?
