confused about destination url in in-stream ads

i'm only running in-stream video ad, and

i have to fill in "display url" and "destination url", i get what these two are but when i watch

in-stream video ads, i never see any link showing up. is the destination link where you are landed once you

click on the video of the ad? because i realised on some in-stream ads you can click on the ads which lead you to certain websites, but i realised some in-stream ads only pause when you click on them. does it mean they didnt fill in the "destination url" section?

or if you want users to be lead to certain websites do you have to put annotations in the ad video?

man im so confused :/

Hi Cyndi,
Don't be confused. It's annoying me too. And it's not just instream ads.

I'm guessing it's a throwback to search and display ads which require these fields. These ads can be copied to video campaigns so I guess it's just meta data for instream at this stage.
