When i search for a certain keyword and nothing comes up,is that low competition?

^^^for instance, say no data comes up when i search for something on the keywords tool and nothing comes up, does that mean i have low competition for that keyword? Meaning the price for my Cost Per Click would be cheaper?

Hi there cmbeatz,

 

Thanks for the question and for the screenshot showing what you were referring to. 

 

If there is no data for a particular keyword it doesn't necesarily mean its a bad keyword, it may well be that there is no information for how that keyword has performed yet on AdWords.

 

If this keyword is one that is relevant and important to your business I would recommend giving it a try in your account to see how it performs. If you monitor it closely you can see how it performs over the next few days/weeks and then you can make a final decision as to whether you want to keep it or not.
