What's the difference between "keyword", and "key-word"?

Does the "-" mean anything? does it do anything?

I'm still unaware of the difference and have two seperate ad groups based on a recommendation from an adwords blog.

I'd love to know, because my ad groups are swapping preferences and not behaving normally.

Thanks, and best of luck,

Hi there;
The system ignores the dash. So, in Adwords "keyword" and "key-word" are essentially the same.

Hi Liftshare,
No, there is no difference between "keyword" and "key-word". In AdWords, a keyword is a keyword. There are different MATCH TYPES, but I've never heard of a "Key-Word".

If you'd like to share how your ad groups are set up, we'll be able to advise a little better.

What about slashes? What if 2 keywords, X and Y, are written as "X/Y" in a Page Title or Header because the 2 keywords are synonyms? E.g. "Find a new cell/mobile phone" for "cell" and "mobile. Thanks!
