Using https instead of http & account performance

Here's the thing as short as it can be: the client's website recently went from http to https.

Could changing my URL addresses in ads improve the performance of my campaign?

Hi Marek M,

As far as I know, http/https has no direct effect on QS. The user will only know if it's https if they hover over the link. Protocol does not show in the display URL.

If you are collecting personal data, https is required.

Do you have a redirect in place to forward http traffic to https? If so, and that does not result in too many redirects, I'd leave it alone for a while. For new ads I'd definitely point to the https URLs.

Best of Luck!
