URL Limit Error?

Hello,

I had a question regarding the URL link on my Ad in Google Adwords.

I run a site from Google Sites, and the site URL is very long.

After learning that I can't put the entire site URL in the Ad, I put in a shortened display Ad URL (still leading to my Google Site).

However, the URL was not be accepted by the system and it was disapproving my Ad, even threatening to suspend my entire account if I do not put a correct display site URL.

What would be a correct display site URL to put on my Ad?

Hi Paul N,

The display URL domain must match the domain where you end up after all redirects. You don't need the http:// part and you don't need the www part either.

This article may help. It outlines mapping a site to a specific URL. That might help.

Best of Luck!
