Hi Guys,

1. Can we run two different campaigns with different domain in a same account?

Campaign 1: www.abc.com

Campaign 2: www.xyz.com

2. Can we run two different ad groups in a same campaign with different domain?

Campaign :

Ad Group 1: www.abc.com

Ad Group 2: www.xyz.com

Thanks,

Pavan

If you have different keywords, then definitely there shouldn't be any issues in this type of implementation.

Hi Pavan,

1. Can we run two different campaigns with different domain in a same account?

Ans.- Yes you can run two different campaigns with different domain in a same account but if you keywords will be similar then your one Ads will get serve (from both campaign) at a time.

2. Can we run two different ad groups in a same campaign with different domain?

Ans. - Yes you can two run different ad groups in same campaign with different domain but if you keywords will be similar then your only one Ads will get serve (from both campaign) at a time.

Please find below the domain policy details:- https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6088505?hl=en

Hi Pavan,

As Anand told above, it's true in both the cases.

Case 1:- You can run multiple campaigns targeting multiple domains which you can actually control.

Case 2:- Remember one display URL domain per ad group is allowed. So you can definitely run ads targeting different domains per ad group. There shouldn't be any issues in that.

All you need to understand is that single keyword per account is going to trigger an ad. So if you try to replicate keywords using different domains targeting same geographic location, that would result in duplicacy and inconsistency among your account.

Hi Pavan,

Yes, You can use two domain as we have already suggested. We will recommend to create separate campaign for both Travel & Cars.

Thanks,
Anand

Hi Pavan,

Just wanted to add something in here. Unless I'm mistaken, it's rare that a single business would be in the travel and auto industries, unless perhaps it was travel and rental cars....

My point being, if these are separate businesses/clients, they should NOT be in the same account as separate campaigns. Each client should have their own account.

Edited for clarity - campaign vs account - the main idea remains the same.  Smiley Happy

@PPCBossman I'm completely agreeing your suggestion that is if we have two different business then there should be two different accounts. But, do you think if we have one account and we are managing multiple business with different keywords form that account then is there any issue for AdWords.

I will really appreciate your inputs.
