Traffic drop when implementing new remarketing features?

Hi everyone,

I'm sure this question has been asked in the past, but I'm confused due to some updates and am looking for some confirmation.

I'm dying to implement some of the new remarketing features on a client's website (remarketing via GA and dynamic remarketing), but the tag to be implemented (using 'doubleclick.net') has been said to block traffic being reported in Analytics.

There are some recent updates mentioning this would no longer be an issue, but I would love to get some confirmation before implementing this. Has anyone here tested if this is still an issue? Any experience with still getting traffic blocked?

I know there are workarounds that can be found, but I would much prefer a 'clean' integration.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi - I've tested this for several websites and I have not noticed a decrease in traffic, or reported traffic when implemented. Hope this helps.
