Time my ads

I have ads that say buy before 1pm and get it next day. I’m just a bit worried that they might be turning people off after 1pm. Is there anyway I can schedule our adds by time of day.

Hi RedDave88,

One way to do this would be to use automated rules to control when the ads turn on and off in the AdGroup.

This link shows a few common ways to implement rules.

As the rules can run anytime in the hour you want them to run I'd suggest setting them to pause at midday so they are off by 1pm.

You'll need to set up 4 rules to complete this fully, setting the frequency to daily.

1 - Resume your 1pm offer ads at certain time

2 - Pause your standard ads at the same time

3 - Pause your 1pm ads (set to midday)

4- Resume your standard ads

Let me know if you have any questions about this, I'm happy to help.

No, you cannot set up automated rules via Editor.

Personally, I'd be thinking about creating two nearly identical campaigns - one containing all the ads that need to run before 1pm, and the other with all the ads that need to run after. Then configure ad schedules for these two campaigns accordingly. All this can be done in Editor relatively easily.

You can also have these two campaigns share one budget (setting up a shared budget has to be done in the web interface at this time; you can't do it in Editor).
