Targeting both AdWords Remarketing Audience and Google Analytics Audience in an Ad Group?

Hi Guys,

 

I am a fan of remarketing. However I am confused whether to target AdWords remarketing pixel based audience or Google analytics created audience. We're targeting both inside an ad group, for example All Visitors (AdWords remarketing pixel based audience) and All Users (Google Analytics created audience). Not sure if this is correct way to do for an effective (performing) remarketing campaign. Should we not use both together? Should we use only one remarketig technology based audience targeting?

 

I was thinking putting both together might end up over-showing our remarketing ads to users which can irritate them and might hurt conversion chances. I appreciate your time reading this question and efforts to share insights. Thanks!

While I don't know how AdWords would handle such a situation in terms of maximum ads shown per user, having both shouldn't be any better than having one. If implemented correctly they should have each captured the same users.

@Ashok P,

If both the audincce list has different audince sizes, then you can add both the Audience pool in your campaign but make sure, you set equal bid in both the audience lists. So that It will not cannibalize against each other. then you can adjust the bid based on performance.
