Targeting Latency with Remarketing...

Hello,

Given that we have more power with Remarketing in GA I want to ask if a potential combination is possible.

We have a site that signs up people seeking mortgage leads. They make deposits and then cherry pick mortgage leads to their liking.  What happens sometimes is that some users drop off the radar and aren't responsive to email reminders.  So, we are thinking about remarketing as a means to re-engage them.

We can set up a segment of users that have been on a common password-protected internal page in the last 90, 120, 180 days,  Can we remove from that segment the set of users who have NOT hit the common Login page -  30, 60 90 DAYS.  To me that is a good way to isolate the segments of inactive subscribers.

Is this possible and is it something we could only do in companion with the GA remarketing?
Regards, Doug

Hi Doug.
You need to use custom two dimensions (custom variables).
Simply tag the main group with one, and the group that doesn't hit the login page with the other. Then create a remarketing list based on a sequence.

Obviously the var names are just examples.

You can read about custom dimensions here - https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2709828

Hope that helps.
