Target outranking share

I'm interested in the Target Outranking Tool to get above some of my competitors.

I've tried it once, I'm running a Manual CPC campaign with Enhanced enabled.

I set up the Outranker and lets for example say I had and Adgroup at $10 CPC, what it did even though I set it up to outbid a certain domain by 20% to start with, it set all my keywords down to $2 cpc? so they stopped showing at all?

To me it seemed really straight forward, setting it up and applying it seemed straight forward... but for some reason it did the opposite.

Anyone shed some light on this? I've got around 3 sites id like to make sure i come above on.

Both the bidding strategies are totally different.
ECPC provides automation to give you conversions by adjusting the bids while Target outrank share will alter the bid just to compete the only competitor you entered to outrank.(your Max. bid limit matters).

So, please understand the bidding strategies before implementing.
