Search term report for negative keywords

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to generate a search term impressions report for my negative keywords. This would be helpful in seeing whether I am losing genuine visitors due to a negative keyword and to refine the negative keywords list. Thanks

Such report is not available yet. You can give feedback on the link given by fellow TC @Celebird

For now you can go through keywords and check if there is any keyword which is mistakenly added and blocking relevant keyword. If I am not sure, I usually make a google search for the negative keywords and check what kind of results are showing and if relevant for me. Also I try to be very careful when I choose match type for my negative keyword. When I am 100% sure for particular keyword only in that case I opt for broad and phrase for rest I prefer to add non relevant search query in exact match type.

Just a additional idea: Also you can check for what all keywords your ads are showing up organically but not for paid. You might get some queries may be blocked by negatives.

Thanks!

Neha

Hi Nasser,

You can not pull the search term report for your negative keywords list. Search terms reports are available for positive keywords only.

I am aware of that but this feature would help advertisers refine the negative keywords so they do not lose relevant visitors.

Hi Naseer,

I am not sure If I understand your question correctly? Do you mean to see what all queries are blocked due to negative keywords that we have in campaign?

Thanks

Hi Neha, Yes, that's correct. Some of the blocked queries may actually be relevant. By knowing this we can refine the negative keywords and ensure that such relevant queries are not blocked. Thanks
