Scheduling option disappeared from DSA and Remarketing campaigns

Hello,

Since yesterday, I have seen in several accounts that I cannot control "Scheduling" in campaigns for "Remarketing" and "Dynamic Search ads", even if under "Campaign settings>>Advanced Settings" I can still see an option for "Schedule>>Ad scheduling" .

Just that when I click on "View Ad schedule" to actually set an ad schedule, it takes me back to campaign settings.

I had some custom bid adjustments for schedule time-segments set , and now I cannot control these percentages anymore.

1) Do you also see this scheduling option problem in their interface for remarketing and DSA campaigns ?

2) Is there an option to set bid adjustments for time-segments under "Schedule" in AdWords Editor 10.6 ?

Thanks

Yes. You could read @20% as "bid at 20% of the usual amount" - a reduction of 80%.

You could simplify this to Sunday@20% (time interval can be omitted for whole day), unless you want to collect stats for each interval separately (these stats show up in the online interface, not in Editor).

I can only speak to this part. Yes there is:

https://support.google.com/adwords/editor/answer/53030

and in particular

https://support.google.com/adwords/editor/answer/57751

@Note that, for historical reasons, the multiplier you specify there is (bid modifier + 100%). Thus, having no bid modifier is equivalent to @100%, and a modifier of -10% or +10% is written as @90% and @110%, correspondingly.

So to actually update scheduling using the AdWords editor, it can't be done from a user interface, only by importing a customized schedule made in CSV , through the button "Add/Update Multiple campaigns".

I have downloaded that particular campaign and I find this on column AL

(Monday@30%[00:00-08:00]);(Monday@100%[08:00-12:00]);(Monday@100%[12:00-15:00]);(Monday@100%[15:00-18:00]);(Monday@100%[18:00-21:00]);(Monday@30%[21:00-24:00]);(Tuesday@30%[00:00-08:00]);(Tuesday@100%[08:00-12:00]);(Tuesday@100%[12:00-15:00]);(Tuesday@100%[15:00-18:00]);(Tuesday@100%[18:00-21:00]);(Tuesday@30%[21:00-24:00]);(Wednesday@30%[00:00-08:00]);(Wednesday@100%[08:00-12:00]);(Wednesday@100%[12:00-15:00]);(Wednesday@100%[15:00-18:00]);(Wednesday@100%[18:00-21:00]);(Wednesday@30%[21:00-24:00]);(Thursday@30%[00:00-08:00]);(Thursday@100%[08:00-12:00]);(Thursday@100%[12:00-15:00]);(Thursday@100%[15:00-18:00]);(Thursday@100%[18:00-21:00]);(Thursday@30%[21:00-24:00]);(Friday@30%[00:00-08:00]);(Friday@100%[08:00-12:00]);(Friday@100%[12:00-15:00]);(Friday@100%[15:00-18:00]);(Friday@100%[18:00-21:00]);(Friday@20%[21:00-24:00]);(Saturday@20%[00:00-08:00]);(Saturday@20%[08:00-12:00]);(Saturday@20%[12:00-15:00]);(Saturday@20%[15:00-18:00]);(Saturday@20%[18:00-21:00]);(Saturday@20%[21:00-24:00]);(Sunday@20%[00:00-08:00]);(Sunday@20%[08:00-12:00]);(Sunday@20%[12:00-15:00]);(Sunday@20%[15:00-18:00]);(Sunday@20%[18:00-21:00]);(Sunday@20%[21:00-24:00])

At least for Sunday there is this data

(Sunday@20%[00:00-08:00]);(Sunday@20%[08:00-12:00]);(Sunday@20%[12:00-15:00]);(Sunday@20%[15:00-18:00]);(Sunday@20%[18:00-21:00]);(Sunday@20%[21:00-24:00])

How am I supposed to interpret this, as in a decrease of 80% for all time segments for Sunday ?

Thank you very much Igor for your time.

Great, I have updated the schedule via AdWords editor 11.0.3 , it was easier to set data in the visual interface rather than uploading a CSV Smiley Happy

You have been of great help, thank you.

For the problem of scheduling option being absent now for the remarketing and DSA campaigns I will contact chat support monday.

An update for anyone facing the same problem : no schedule option for remarketing and DSA campaigns , Google support has replied to me  that it is a technical issue in multiple accounts and it will be solved by next week.
