Remarketing

Hi Community Member's,

I have a question, actually one of my client have a question that , if in a Remarketing campaign I start showing ads immediately on GDN as soon as users bounced from my website will that be a good startegy? or we should try to do some settings in our campaign and start showing ads to users who have just been added to the remarketing list after a gap of 1 or 2 days. If yes, how is it possible in Adwords.

Also, if we start showing ads immediately to user's in our Remarketing List , im my view Cost/Conversion will be higher as compared from user's who start seeing our Remarketing ads after 1 or 2 days.

Please suggest.

Thanks,

Anurag

Hi Anurag,

Your Remarketing ads are shown to the users once the minimum 100 cookies are acumulated for Display network. So it's not going to be an immediate impact. You could set custom membership duration for your users depending upon the business model you have or depending upon the purchase life cycle of a customer. Another important aspect is that you are showing ads to the users who have already been to your website and didn't take any action. So you will have to create some custom tailored ads with some specific offers for them so that they become customers for you.

Hope this helps!
