Remarketing - SIMILAR TO [YOUR LIST NAME] ?

Is it something new in marketing list? I just see it today while adding Re-marketing list to adgroup, Adwords is showing some similar visitors list to existing audience list which is 1000+ times more than my existing list. one of my 6 month list is just 1200 and similar list showing 200,000 list size.

 

If it is showing relevant audience, then does it make sense? can't we use these in normal display campaign.

AdWords looks at browsing activity on Display Network sites over the last 30 days, and uses this, along with our contextual engine, to understand what defines a remarketing audience. Based on this information, AdWords finds a significantly larger audience of new users beyond your remarketing list that has similar browsing patterns to your existing audience.

I´ve seen great results for some accounts with Shared Audiences. It can be a must if you wanna scale up a GDN-dependent account. But it depends a lot on your niche,and how well-defined your remarketing-list is (use a list for a a specific sections of your site)
