in market audience are the people who are more likely to buy a product. Most of the cases they have a active buying history of related product or category.

A affinity audience are the users who may be interested in product category its belong to. In most of the cases we use affinity audience for display campaigns in order to increase the reach

"Similar users" allow you to target users who "look like" the ones who are on your remarketing list but have not visited your site. A powerful machine learning algorithm looks at the characteristics of the users who visited your site (= members of your remarketing lists) and finds similar users on the Google Display Network.

Performance for "similar users" campaign is lower than remarketing campaigns (in terms of Cost/conversion for example) but they're more valuable users because they're new acquisition, they have not yet shown interest by visiting your site.
