Suppose we negative placement :

www.indianexpress.com/news/exclusive-president-rejects-ajmal-kasab-s-mercy-plea/1033945

And another is :

www.indianexpress.com/news/movie-review-the-attacks-of-2611/1081767

Now if we exclude :  www.indianexpress.com  then both of these will be excluded or not.

Hello,

Excluding the domain will exclude all both belonging to that domain so your 3rd exclusion makes the first 2 exclusions useless because it blocks those URLs too.

It is explained here https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2454012?hl=en

Expand "Formating placement exclusion for sites" :

"In general, excluding domains will prevent your ads from appearing on any page on or within that domain, while entering subdomains or paths will only prevent your ads from appearing on any page on or within that subdomain or path respectively."
