My google ads are down.... could it be because of ad re-sellers?

I found out that large companies are advertising their own ads results on the google adwords system...

These large companies are not selling products. They are selling their own ads results.. you click on it and it looks like another google window with more ads..

Wasn't this against the rules to sell advertisements in the adwords system?

I wonder if it is more efficient just to buy ad space from the ad re-sellers that are ranking on first results from google...

But... it is ok to sell other ads? or not?

When you click on the page of these companies.. Ask.com, Pronto.com, Zapmeta.com,... it shows just like another search engine similar to google, with natural, and paid advertisements...

If a company as large as ask.com is going to dominate the amount of clicks on google, and resell their own advertisement results... then it could be worth looking at their pricing...

However.. not all of the results from ask.com seem to be relevant to the main search.. so, it makes you wonder of the accuracy when targeting an audience..

I am not sure if google and ask.com are making more money at it... but sure looks like a less efficient use of advertisement money, and a little extra click and extra search for the people looking for things...

If google is in no way connected to ask.com, then google might be losing advertisement money as my ad is not getting clicks and I am not paying you for it... while people keep using more of their time when searching for that they want..

Hi Edgar,

It's possible that some of these other search engine sites are part of Google's Search Partners. However if you do suspect them of violating Google's Adwords policy, feel free to repor them on the link I sent you.

Thanks,
