Hello, Is there any way we have to measure the money saved by using a negative keywords list in an account? Thanks

Not really (at least not directly) since negative keywords simply stop any impressions and, therefore, clicks.

However, you can run reports using the compare function to establish the impressions, CTR and CPC for before and after you introduce the negative keywords which should (hopefully!) show the improvement.

You would expect to see fewer ad impressions and a better CTR since you are using the negatives to weed out the less relevant impressions. It's not so much a question of how much money is saved, rather how much better we are spending what we spend.

Hi Hasan,

This is really nice questions, But the direct answer is no. However, you can calculate the past cost before adding the negative keywords (but those negatives are taken from SEARCH QUERY REPORT).

You can find negative terms and keywords from the Search Query Report and can calculate past cost that you have wasted in the corresponding search terms, and estimated what %age you have saved after adding those keywords in a campaigns.
This data can not give you the predictive cost. Because the actual search terms changes over the period of time and you will find the negative keywords on regular basis.

Hello Hasan K,

Or you can just simply mark the date in Analytics when you added negative keywords to your account and then compare statistics before and after this date. You'll see how and whether your cost, CTR, CPC have changed.
