Massive Disparity in Impressions between 2 (almost) Identical Campaigns?

Hello

I am running 2 campaigns that have the same number of ads and use the same keywords. The only difference is the text I have typed in the ads to present to the customer. Campaign 1 has a 100,000's of impressions, but low conversion rate. Campaign 2 has 500 impressions, but a high conversion rate.

Why would 2 similar campaigns have such a disparity in impressions?

Hi Billy,

That's the wrong configuration. You should have set up one single campaign and specified multiple ad copies for the ad groups. However, the governing principal remains the same. A copy may be served much more impressions than other copies because it's proved more advantageous for Google. The reason is typically associated with higher CTR.

Best,

Lakatos

Double check location targeting settings- one may be targeting a larger area than the other.

In settings also: Both on the same networks- Search and/or Display?

Good luck

Those keywords are competing among themselves.
