Keywords in Youtube Campaign

In Youtube search keywords, we only have option to broad match keywords.
In one of my campaign I am using keywords related to SAT exam preparation and SAT Vocabulary.But I am also getting my Ads on keywords related to GRE preparation and GRE vocabulary.

Is this happening because "vocabulary" is common in both the keywords ?
Please suggest way to stop such type of irrelevant impressions on Youtube..

Thanks

Puneet

Hi Puneet,

Since you are talking about the Adwords for Video campaign i.e. targeting Google Display Network, I believe that keyword matching options is only available for Search network campaigns. So by default your keywords which you include would be in broad matches.

Try including the negative keywords side by side for the terms which you don't want your video ad to be displayed like this:

My 2 cents!

Yes, it may be the reason. Please use negative keywords to restrict keywords with GRE in it. Thanks.

And also note, that adding a negative keyword, will not necessarily "block" ad impressions, but only will reduce / lower the number of impressions;
