If I have a foreign Ad (Arabic) ...

My text ad type is entirely in Arabic.  The landing page WAS in Arabic, until I saw an average visit duration of SIX SECONDS (in Google Analytics) after 20 clicks.  The next day, I changed the landing page to an English version, and my average visit duration went up to over a minute after another 20 clicks...

But I'm getting no conversions or even points of contact.  In Google Analytics I noticed that 100% of my visitors are en-us or en.  Meaning ZERO visitors who have Arabic set as their main language...

Are people clicking on my ad for the sole reason that it's in a funny looking language???

Hi ZandarKoad,

This is a good query, however, more info is needed to be able to understand the situation further.

Firstly, where is your AdWords campaign targeting? Also, what are your language settings for this campaign? If you are targeting the UK, Ireland or the US & your ad text is in Arabic, then this might explain the low figure for average visit duration. It might be posible that users are clicking on your ads and then realise that the page is in Arabic & then bounce right off it.

Also, is the page in question a landing page for your ads (ie. do your AdWords ads lead directly to this page)?
