I wana know why ad group level negative needs to be added .?
I want to know why should add adgroup level negative.
Lets have an example:
And I have one adgroup where no sale word has used but sales is there so why should I take sales as negative .
Also in Institute , academy, classes, coaching .They are similiar somewhere If I have taken classes in academy adgroup then ad ll not be visible in that adgroup as per my opinion We should not add adgroup level negative if keywords or services are similiar as far.

A Negative keyword does not restrict your ad from showing for its variations/synonyms. Your ads can still appear for variations of the terms that you select as negative keywords.
Hence, including sale as the neg can still trigger your ads for sales. Similarly, including coaching as neg can still trigger your ads for classes. In short, you will need to add all terms/phrases as individual negative keywords.

About why it is available at adgroup level - it has it's own usefulness and that is - you can have adgroup specific negative keywords. You can use a term/phrase as negative keyword in one adgroup and as a normal keyword in the other. This feature is very much helpful when you need to create tightly themed or match type specific adgroups.
