Hi Utilitiesindia,

For future reference, on this page, scroll to and expand the section on 'View or Hide Deleted Items' you can re-enable them directly from the AdWords interface.

Hope this helps!

As of 04-Jan-2016 this 'solution' is no longer available. Anything else to be don, other than 'Add Keyword'?

Okay, the "best answer" on this page is actually quite worthless, especially if you have deleted A LOT of keywords. There is no way to undelete them with easy steps. If you try to undo the changes by viewing "Change History" then you'll be lucky if it works...especially if a few days have passed. If you deleted in bulk in multiple campaigns and adgroups then this solution will work for you. This will not, however, reinstate your old stats. Those statistics are still tagged to the "removed" keyword but the new keywords will now have new stats.

1) Edit your view to view "All keywords"
2) Set a filter to match "Status matches Keyword paused or removed". Click Apply and you will now see your deleted keywords. Of course, you'll be seeing all deleted keywords so you may want to create additional parameters such as impressions > 0 within a time frame to get the ones you recently deleted.
3) Click to select all keywords (or the ones you want to "undelete").
4) Click Edit and select "Download Spreadsheet"
5) Download into CSV format.
6) Open up this newly downloaded CSV file.
7) Delete the rows above the header columns
8) Do a "find and replace" and change all "removed" cells to "enabled"
9) Delete the "Keyword ID" column.
10) Save this file, preferably Save As to another name, just in case you screwed up.
11) Open up Google Adwords Editor
12) Click the root account name (if you're putting keywords into multiple campaigns/adgroups)
13) Click "Account" --> "Import" --> "From File"
14) Follow the steps and select the file you "Saved As"
15) Voila, your keywords have been "undeleted", albeit your stats will start from the beginning now, but at least you have your keywords back.
