How to set bid adj. for specific period of time while showing all time?

Hi, folks

 

Consider the following situation: I want to show my ads all days all times and I'd like to set bid adj. to time range 2 PM - 7 PM on Fridays.

 

The only way I can figure out to do it is to create ad schedule one for each day but Friday.

For Friday create three ad schedules: 12 AM - 2 PM, 2 PM - 7 PM and 7 PM - 12 AM and set big adj. for the second one.

 

Is that the only way to do that?

The process you described is the best way to adjust bids during that time range however you can also utilize Google AdWords Scripts. Here's an example, albeit relatively complex, of a script that modifies bids based by time of day:
