How to exclude all location based searches? Example: Nike in (city)

I want to exclude ALL search queries containing a reference to a geographical location.

Example: Apple in <city, state> will not serve my Apple ad.

Thanks!

Great question.

Sadly (as far as I know) the only way you will be able to do this is to add all the place related keywords as negatives within your account/ad group as you need. I'm assuming your location targeting is very general and set to USA...?

Why is it you want to exclude all place names though Ryan?

Organic results handle these location specific search queries, saving $. The user's intent when searching my brand and a city is not aligned with KPI's on any level.

Thank you for the reply!
