How to correctly add "." as variable to destination url
I am trying to add my ad copy to the URL in order to pass it on to our CRM system.
Some ad copys includes characters like "." and "&". The proper HTML escaped format of "." is "." - but I can't use that since it will break variable since it has an & in it. Any suggestions how to pass in a "." as part of a variable?
I tried ValueTrack but they don't have a variable that passes is ad-copy.
Re: How to correctly add "." as variable to destination url
You should be URL encoding this, not HTML encoding. URL encoding, I'm sure you know, is a percent sign followed by the hexadecimal value of the character. Use %2E for a period, %26 for an ampersand.
Best of Luck!
