Help with Upgraded URLs with landing page parameters

I have looked through the posts and have not been able to find an answer.

I have several accounts and have upgraded the URLs fairly easily, but I have a client that has parameters in the tracking template as well as the final URL.

This is a cross domain tracking method.

Here is the current Destination URL:{keyword}&s4={matchtype}

Which ends up at:

The clck parameter tracks the click all the way through the process and is added through the tracking URL.

The c parameter refers to the campaign and offer we are running so that it points to the right page.

I was assuming I would set it up like:

Final URL:

Tracking Template :{keyword}&s4={matchtype}

Custom Parameters = None

Is this the correct setup?  Will the parameters still be passed as usual when the visitor lands on the final URL page?

Thanks for any help or guidance you can provide.

Hi Brett,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

There's one important guideline and that is - your Final URL and your Display URLs should be the same domain.  Your third party tracking does not include your actual website URL, for this reason {lpurl} cannot be placed into the tracking template.

My advice, connect with your Tracking Service Provider and ask if they are compatible with Upgraded URL and how?

Hi Brett,

First of all, there is no need to put question mark on your Final URL.

Another thing is that, I'm not sure that your clck parameter will work for this setup. Apart from that it should work for you!

Please update on this issue, so many things said but so little things are clear in the Adwords scene nowadays.
