HTML5 Banners - Must they be linked to a GIF

I have made a series of banners for a client. The HTML5 code is linked to gif. We can't see any other way of producing the html5 banner. What we would like is to have the html5 banner with a high frame rate than the gif as it currently looks a bit jerky. Can anyone suggest some way around this?

Thank you,

Matthew

Have you checked out Google Web Designer?  How about Google's Rich Media Gallery?  There are a huge number of technologies for animation and dynamic presentation within HTML 5 beyond gifs.
